Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who has quite a few records to his name, added another one on Friday. The star batsman, who is known for his colossal run scoring appetite, scored 101 in mere 35 balls in the second T-20 international match against Sri Lanka in Indore.
With this, Rohit equalled David Miller’s record for the fastest T20 hundred. For the uninitiated, Miller had also scored his century in 35 balls against Bangladesh at Potchefstroom in October 2017.
Rohit's thundering innings of 118 runs off 43 balls came to an end at the hands of Dushmantha Chameera in the 12th over. In his whirlwind knock, Sharma smoked 12 sixes, the maximum by an Indian in T-20 international matches.

The Maharashtra boy was all gun-blazing since the very first over and smashed back to back four sixes in Thisara Perera's over.
The in-form batsman had recently scored his third one day international double ton against Sri Lanka in Mohali. Sharma is the only international player to score more than one double ton in one-day matches.
As a matter of fact, the record for the fastest century in T20 cricket belongs to Chris Gayle, who scored a ton in mere just 30 balls in an IPL match.
