The Indian cricket team is having a gala time on the field in their tours of Australia and New Zealand. In Australia, they won the Test and ODI series for the first time while in New Zealand, they steamrolled Kane Williamson’s side by eight wickets in Napier to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. The fun on the field is spilling out off the field as well. Virat Kohli’s side is having plenty of fun and it is making plenty of waves on social media. However, one particular aspect has given this side a comical twist. Yuzvendra Chahal, the India legspinner, has launched Chahal TV, a channel run by the official website of the BCCI following India’s win in the Adelaide ODI in which Kohli scored a century.
The first person to make his debut on Chahal TV was none other than Kohli. The format of the show, anchored by Chahal, focuses on some fun questions with each video lasting in the range of two to five minutes. After Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Kedar Jadhav came on the show while another episode focused on backstage heroes. In this episode, Chahal paid tribute to the backroom staff who helped the Indian players immensely in their fitness.

On the fifth episode of Chahal TV, the Haryana legspinner had a fun conversation with fellow legspinner Kuldeep Yadav in an episode titled KulCha. In this episode, he asked about Kuldeep’s experience in playing in New Zealand for the first time. When Chahal was asked as to how does Kuldeep feel when either one of them are not selected in the side, Kuldeep answered, “The understanding that we have is something that we miss. It is important to have a good bond. It is not always that we bowl in tandem. The talk that we have is something I miss.â€
