Sri Lanka were 131 for three at close on the second day of the third cricket Test after India declared their first innings at 536 for seven at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi.
India skipper Virat Kohli hit a career-best 243 even as play was halted on the request of visitors in the post-lunch session due to poor air quality. This was Virat's sixth double century in test matches. With this, the star batsman has scored as many double tons as Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sehwag.
Angelo Mathews (57) and skipper Dinesh Chandimal (25) will resume Sri Lanka's innings tomorrow.
