The day 3 of the opening Test match from the West Indies tour of India is expected to be dominated by the Virat Kohli-led Team India following his side’s domination upon the West Indies batting line-up as the Indian bowlers rubbed their hands with glee while witnessing the woeful shot selection and technique by this inexperience Windies side following India’s declaration on 649/9 on the Day 2 of the first Test at Rajkot.

The Windies are in a really troublesome state at 49/5 as they trail India by a mammoth 555 runs and the Virat Kohli-led side would be hoping to wrap up the opening Test of the series with an innings win.

For India, skipper Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and debutant Prithvi Shaw struck tons as they cemented a mountain in front of the Windies side.

However, while chasing, the Windies displayed some horrendous batting as Mohammed Shami, and the spin trio of Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja wreaked havoc and bundled half of the Windies side by the end of Day 2.
