India’s own sports festival Indian Premier League is set to begin on April 5. The season opener between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 5, 2017 would be preceded by the ceremony.
A one of its kind, the tenth edition of the IPL will witness not one, but eight different opening ceremonies.
Every city hosting the tournament this year - Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Pune and Rajkot - will host their own ceremony to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the competition.
