The already struggling Delhi Daredevils have suffered another major blow as their captain Zaheer Khan is unlikely to play the remaining Indian Premier League matches due to a hamstring strain.
Khan suffered the injury during DD's match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Sources said that he won't feature in their match against defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The 38-year-old pacer had missed the last game against Kings XI Punjab where his team was bundeled out for 67 runs.
"Zaheer will be missing the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad due to the hamstring strain that he suffered during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders but he is unlikely to make a comeback," PTI quoted a team source as saying.

"He will have little time to recover from the strain due to the hectic schedule of IPL. Karun Nair will be the stand-in captain for tomorrow," he added.
Delhi are languishing at the eighth spot with only two wins in their eight games so far.
