Kings XI Punjab gave a clinical performance as they thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 wickets. Captain Glenn Maxwell and Hashim Amla ensured that their bowlers' hard work didn't go in vain as they cracked fours and sixes at will.
Amla slammed a brilliant fifty whereas Maxwell went past 1000 runs in IPL as Punjab secured their second consecutive win in the 2017 edition of the tournament.
Axar Patel received the Man of the Match award for his accuracy as he bowled a miserly spell of 4 overs for 12 runs while snaring one wicket. RCB couldn't break the shackles created by Punjab bowlers and despite AB de Villiers' majestic, unbeaten 89 could score only 148 runs of their 20 overs.
