Injury-hit Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) RBC put behind the opening defeat by defending a considerably low total as they beat Delhi Daredevils by 15 runs on Saturday.
A depleted Bangalore was struggling without Virat Kohli, out with shoulder injury, and AB de Villiers, out due to a back problem. De Villiers too was not included in the squad for Saturday's match. In his absence Shane Watson continued to lead the side.
However, Kedar Jadhav rose to the occasion and scored a brilliant half-century after a not-so-convincing start from Chris Gayle and Shane Watson.
Jadhav scored 69 runs in just 37 balls that proved crucial for RCB in the end. The team managed to put just 157 runs in 20 overs at the expense of eight wickets.

Delhi Daredevils, on the other hands, made a convincing start in their chase as their openers scored 33 runs for first wicket.
However, the team could not capitalise on the solid start and it kept losing wickets on regular intervals.
Even, Rishabh Pant's brilliant half-century was not enough for the Daredevils as they lost the game in the final stage.
