Indian all-rounder and left arm seamer Irfan Pathan was criticised on Tuesday by various people on Facebook and Instagram after he posted his picture along with that of his wife Safa Baig. The comments ranged from advising him to remove the picture to slamming him for not being ‘a good Muslim’. A comment read, “WTF Tell her to cover her arms. Being a muslim and being a Pathan its your duty to do so.†Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami too was subjected to similar treatment by cricket fans on social media some time ago, after a few fanatics attacked him on the internet platforms where he had posted a photo with his wife.
Here are some of the hateful and ridiculous comments by trolls.

Pathan married Baig, a model from Jeddah in a low-key affair in February and the two were blessed with a baby boy in December. Pathan has been part of India's winnig campaign in the 2007 World Cup and was touted as the new age Wasim Akram since his debut. However, he has been out of the team since the past few years due to poor form.
