India's fast bowler Jhulan Goswami surpassed Australian Cathryn Fitzpatrick 180 dismissals to become highest wicket taker in women’s one-day internationals.

The right-arm fast bowler broke the record during the ongoing match against hosts South Africa in the Women’s Quadrangular Series in Potchefstroom. Goswami, who finished with 3 for 20 in 7.3 overs, achieved the feat with the wicket of No.11 batsman Raisibe Ntozakhe.

Indian women's cricket team has two bowlers in the top five wicket-takers, with former left-arm spinner Neetu David now at No. 4 with 141 wickets.

With 271 International wickets across all formats, the 34-year-old Indian pacer is the all-time leading wicket-taker in women's cricket.
