As the game starts on Day 3 of the series decider final Test in Dharamsala, Australia have a upper hand on India. A lot would depend on Wriddhiman Saha and Ravindra Jadeja if India, want to take a lead against Australia. India on day 2 at stumps were IND 248/6 (91.0 Ovs), trailing Australia by 52 runs.
On day 2, Pujara and Rahul tried to resist the Aussie attack in the early morning's play, but as soon as Nathan Lyon came into the attack, he completely dismantled the Indian batting attack and took 2 quick wickets to remove Pujara and Nair.
This match is turning into a spinners delight. All about Kuldeep on day 1 and Lyon on day 2. It would be interesting to see how far Saha and Jadeja can stretch for the hosts.
The series is level at 1-1 and only a win would ensure that India reclaim the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Australia, who triumphed at home in 2014-15, need just a draw to retain the trophy.
