Cheteshwar Pujara and Wriddhiman Saha have struck a strong partnership and helped India go past Australia's massive 451-run total. The Australian bowlers tried to pepper the Indians with some short pitch stuff but both the batsmen held their ground and showcased good application to carve out a century partnership.
The third day of the Ranchi Test was filled with mixed fortunes for both India and Australia. Cheteshwar Pujara's marvelous century and Pat Cummins four wickets had kept the match evenly poised.

In the closing moments of the third day, Wriddhiman Saha had struck a useful partnership with centurion Pujara while frustrating the Australian bowlers.
India had wrested the initiative on the second day of the Test as they restricted Australia to a score of 451 runs. Although Steven Smith and Glenn Maxwell both hit classy centuries, Ravindra Jadeja took yet another five-wicket haul to turn the match in India's favour.
