India played brilliantly on the fourth day of the Hyderabad Test as they scalped the four reamining first innings Bangladesh wickets in the first session in spite of a majestic century by Mushfiqur Rahim. In the process, Ashwin also reached the milestone of 250 wickets and became the fastest man to do so in Test cricket.
After earning a massive first innings lead of 299 runs, India gave their bowlers a breather by batting again. Although India lost both their openers to the guiles of Taskin Ahmed, another half-century by Pujara saw India pile up 159 runs for the loss of four wickets.
Bangladesh was set a daunting target of 459 runs in the second innings with four sessions to survive. Indian spinners, led by the wily Ashwin made life tough for the Bangladesh batsmen as they scalped three early wickets. Ashwin grabbed the wickets of Tamim Iqbal and Mominul Haque whereas Jadeja gobbled up Soumya Sarkar to leave the visitors rattling at 103/3 at stumps. The visitors now need another 356 runs with 7 wickets remaining.

India will go all out on the fifth day to win the one-off Test and give a strong message to the visiting Australians.
