The England vs India first Test match at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground is turning out to be a cracker of a contest as the game stands balance after three days of exciting cricket. The Day 4 of Edgbaston Test is expected to go down the wire as the game is still in the balance. The equation is simple, India need 84 runs to win and England need 5 wickets to bag the match.

However, England have the slight edge considering the way their bowlers have found life in the second innings. But with Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik at the crease for the sixth wicket and Hardik Pandya and the lower order ready to come, India still have hopes of winning this match.

James Anderson (1/33), Ben Stokes (1/25) and Sam Curran (1/17) all chipped in with wickets to kept Indian pegging at every interval. There were starts for Shikhar Dhawan (13), KL Rahul (13) and Ravichandran Ashwin (13) who was promoted to number six. No one could stay at the crease for long.

#03:40 PM: Will Hardik rise to the occasion?: Hardika Pandya comes out in the middle. The big question is will Hardik Pandya rise to the occasion? If he does, he will get respect, praises and will cement his place in World Cup squad, but if he fails he will nothing of them. Broad comes from another end.

Last ball of the first over of the day and Karthik commits a crime.. tries to play and outswinger from Anderson.
