India vs England, Highlights, 5th Test Day 3 at The Oval: Ravindra Jadeja’s unbeaten 86 and debutant Hanuma Vihari’s 56 helped India narrow England’s lead on day 3 of the Oval Test on Sunday. From 160-6, Jadeja and Vihari helped India to reach 292 in their first innings. After Vihari’s fall on 237, Ishant Sharma (4) and Mohammed Shami (1) too lost their wickets quickly but Jadeja kept on accelerating India’s innings and put 32 runs for the tenth and final wicket. Batting in their second innings, England lost opener Jennings early on 27. Moeen Ali (20) also went back to hut cheaply but Alastair Cook, playing in his final international match, remained on the crease with skipper Joe Root.

Here are the highlights and SCORECARD of India vs England, 5th Test Day 3:

# Stumps! Alastair Cook remains unbeaten! He is 46*, within 29 runs of Kumar Sangakkara in the all-time Test runscorers chart. England are 114/2, leading by 154. How far can they extend their lead tomorrow?

# OUT! Sir Ravindra Jadeja again. He strikes to remove Moeen Ali after Mohammed Shami had bowled Keaton Jennings, who was trying to leave. England are 64/2 after 28 overs, leading by 104.

# Out Bowled! Shami removes Jennings. Score after 13 overs: England 28-1, lead India by 68 runs. Moeen Ali replaces Jennings.

# Welcome back! Cook and Jennings are at the crease. Cook is on strike. Bumrah will open the attack

# Run OUT! India all out for 292 in first innings, trail England (332) by 40 runs. Jadeja wanted to keep the strike and went for a single that wasn't actualy. Bumrah was way too short. His is out.

# Four! Jadeja is proving his worth. IND 288/9 in 90.4 overs.

# Four! He will now go after every ball. He knows only this way he can stretch the Indian innings and narrow England's lead.

SIX! Jadeja stretches his muscles a bit. Anderson bowls a full ball in line of the stump and swings in away. Jadeja counters for that and goes with the straight bat over the bowlers head.

# Score after 87 overs: India 268/9

FOUR! Jadeja has decided to accelerate his innings. He chops from his crease and a thick outside edge makes it race through the slip cordon for a boundary.

# OUT! And as Sidhu says, "Kharbuje ko dekhke Kharbuja rang badalta hai". Rashid removes Shami. In the entire series, England's tail has been the trouble for India, but Indian lower order could not perform the way Englishmen did. Sam Curran, Stuart Broad and Adil Rashid contributed very well with the bat. This is where England players outperformed Indians else the result of the series would have been different.

# FOUR! Jadeja stands tall and half pulls it to mid-wicket. His intention is now clear. Take it as far as he can.

# OUT! Ali strikes again post lunch. Ishant Sharma departed for 4. And it looks it's not too far as India has lost 8 wickets.

# Lunch break! India 0 240/7, trail England by 92 runs.

# OUT! Moeen Ali provides England with a much-needed breakthrough. End of debutant Vihari's brilliant knock under pressure. India 237/7, trail England (332) by 95 runs at The Oval.

# FIFTY for Vihari! Debutant Hanuma Vihari has announced his arrival in Test cricket with a half-century in his very first match. A loud cheer from the audience and a standing ovation from the Indian squad. Maiden fifty for Vihari and what a moment that is for a player in his debut Test.

# Two runs! And with that, 50-run partnership between Jadeja and Vihari for the seventh-wicket.

# FOUR!! 200 up for India: Jadeja sees the short ball on his off and opens the face of the bat to guide it towards third man for a boundary. With that India crossed 200.

# Here we go: Ravindra Jadeja and Hanuma Vihari to resume India's first innings. Stuart Broad will open the attack for England.
