India would like to make early inroads into the South African batting order to stage a comeback into the third Test being played at Wanderers, Johannesburg.

The Indians were bundled out for a paltry 187 runs in their first innings with only skipper Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara registering fifties.

At stumps on Day 1, the Proteas were in a commanding position with an impressive bowling performance by their seamers. However, India struck back with Bhuvneshwar Kumar sending back opener Aiden Markram
