Despite losing KL Rahul early, 'Men in Blue' were helped with outstanding centuries by Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara. Skipper Virat Kohli too joined in the fun as he hit a half-century to add to the Islanders' worries.

India finished the second day of the Nagpur Test well placed at 312/2. Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara hit fluent centuries and skipper Virat Kohli too joined in the fun with a half-century. The Lankan bowlers were all at sea against India's strong batting line-up and none of them rose up to the challenge.
