After the successful tour of South Africa, Team India now eyes for Twenty20 International tri-series in Sri Lanka which also involves Bangladesh
In the opening match of the Hero Nidahas Trophy 2018, India to face Sri Lanka in Colombo.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been rested for the series. Some of the other senior players who will not be playing in the tri-series includes Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya.
Players like Washington Sundar, Vijay Shankar, Rishabh Pant, Deepak Hooda and Mohammad Siraj are included in the Indian squad.
Nidahas Trophy was first held in 1998 for a 50-over series and now it is being organised to mark the celebration of 70 years of Sri Lankan Independence.
It will be interesting to see, that Team India continues its winning streak in the tri-series as well or Sri Lankan side can pull this one up
