Match summary: Day 2
At stumps on day 2, England are 103 for the loss of five wickets, trailing by 352 runs. England began its 1st innings on a tentative note and lost some quick wickets to the guile of Ravichandran Ashwin. The Indian bowlers put tremendous pressure on the English players as both seamers and spinners used the bounce and turn of the wicket to good effect.
The Indian 1st innings folded for 455 on the second day as the England spinners, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid used the turn and bounce of the wicket to the utmost extent.
Earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin and debutant Jayant Yadav rescued India after the fall of some quick wickets in the morning.
The Indian innings faltered as skipper Virat Kohli, Wriddhiman Saha and Ravindra Jadeja were snapped up by England spinner Moeen Ali.
