Colin Munro hit a scintillating century as New Zealand defeated India by a margin of 40 runs. The Kiwis thus levelled the series 1-1 at Rajkot.

The Indian batting fired on all cylinders with their openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan compiling quick fire half centuries. Captain Kohli and lent impetus to the innings in the later stages and helped the host post a mammoth 200 plus score.
The Indians were all over the Kiwis batting lineup and made early inroads into their batting. Tom Latham was the only Kiwis who looked comfortable against the Indian attack in the first game.
The Kotla match marked the farewell of one of India's finest seamers Ashish Nehra. Nehra was given a heart-warming send off in front of his home fans at the Kotla.
