Mithali is incredible ambassador for game of cricket, hope appreciation for girls continues, says Sania

Ace Tennis player Sania Mirza on Tuesday appreciated the performance of Women’s cricket team in ICC Women’s World Cup. Sania heaped praise on skipper Mithali Raj by saying that she is an incredible ambassador for the game of cricket.

"Mithali Raj has been performing amazingly for many years, she is an incredible ambassador for the game of cricket," said Sania.

Sania said that she really hope that this appreciation that all the girls are getting continues because they deserve it, work really hard.

Earlier on Sunday, Indian eves lost to hosts England won the ICC Women’s World Cup final by 9 runs, at Lord’s.

Despite the loss, appreciation poured in from all corners for the players. Sports Minister said that they will give grand welcome to the team when they will come back to India from England.
