Mohammad Nabi created a record of sorts by becoming the first ever player from Afghanistan to get sold in the Indian Premier League.

The Afghanistan batsman was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 30 lacs in the IPL season 10 auction which is going on at Bangalore. There were five players from Afghanistan who were part of the final auction list for the IPL 10 season.

IPL season 10 witnessed six players from the Associates nations making it to the final auction list in the coveted Indian Premier League. Out of the six, five were from Afghanistan including captain Asghar Stanikzai, Mohammad Nabi, Mohammad Shahzad, Rashid Khan and Dawlat Zadran.
