Mohammed Shami injured in road accident, receives head injuries, stitches

Mohammed Shami got injured in a road accident on Sunday while travelling from Dehradun to Delhi. He has received stitches after getting head injuries.

Mohammed Shami has been a subject of lot of controversies ranging from match fixing allegations to allegations related to extra-marital affairs  in recent times.

The allegations were levelled by his wife Hasin Jahan and she went on to file official police complaint.

The Indian pacer was charged under several sections of the IPC, including the non-bailable ones of attempt to murder, rape, assault and criminal intimidation, on the basis of a complaint filed by his wife, alleging domestic violence and infidelity.

Hasin Jahan further alleged that the 28-year-old seamer was involved in match fixing. The BCCI and AOC cleared Shami of match-fixing charges levelled against him after proper investigation. Shami’s wife had earlier claimed that the cricketer had received money from a Pakistani woman named Alishba.

The accident is reportedly minor and Shami has not received any major injuries. The Delhi Daredevils pacer is currently resting at Dehradun.
