England defeated India by 8 wickets in the third ODI on Tuesday to seal the three-match one-day series by 2-1Â The series defeat was team India first bilateral loss under Virat Kohli as many players failed to live up to the expectation in the final match.
The commentators and the pundits scrutinised the performance by it was moments of post-match footage which stormed the social media.
Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni was spotted taking the match ball from the umpires while heading towards the dressing room which has now led the viewers believe that the 37-year-old is set to announce his retirement from international cricket.

During the second ODI against England at the Lords’ on Saturday, the World Cup-winning skipper was booed off by few Indian fans in the stadium as he failed to accelerate the Indian chase. He scored 37 runs off 59 deliveries as India lost the game by 86 runs.
On Tuesday, with wickets falling in regular intervals, Dhoni remained calm and managed to score 42 runs off 66 balls.

However, the post-match clippings of ‘Mahi’ taking the ball from the umpires could be taking memorabilia from what is likely to be his final bilateral series in England.
India is set to play the ICC Cricket World Cup in England next summer and chief selector MSK Prasad had earlier said MS Dhoni will remain the team’s first choice for his slot.
Neither of Virat Kohli or Shardul Thakur, who attended the post-match presser didn’t comment anything about the Social Media speculation.
