Cricketers should be generally lauded for their performances on the field rather than being criticised to how well they converse at a post-match presentation, reflecting on the performances.

It has been often seen in the past that cricketers from the Asian countries struggle big time to express their thoughts about their individual or team performances in a match when asked to speak in English. English is certainly not the first language for Asians and hence this inability keeps coming to the fore.

Sarfraz Ahmed, the captain of the Pakistan became the latest victim of the same. The Pakistani skipper was trolled for not being well versed in English. He received a lot of criticism after speaking at the post-match presentation. Despite all heated rivalry between Indian and Pakistan, a lot of people across the Indian subcontinent stood up for the cricketer. This gesture was well appreciated by Pakistanis via Twitter.

Here are some tweets by Indians who stood up for Sarfaraz, post him getting trolled on Twitter
