South Africa’s wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock on Friday completed 3,000 runs in One-Day Internationals during the final match against Sri Lanka at Centurion.
De Cock has become the fastest wicketkeeper-batsman to score 3000 runs in One Day International. He eclipsed MS Dhoni’s record who took 90/91 innings to score 3000 runs as a wicket keeper batsman.
De Kock took 74 innings to reach this milestone. He also became the second South African wicketkeeper-batsman to score 3,000 runs in ODIs, after Mark Boucher.
He made his ODI debut back in December 2012 against New Zealand. Since then, he is reputed for his hard-hitting as well as his baby-faced look.
