Quinton de Kock's remark against David Warner's wife reason behind ball-tampering

Candice Warner, wife of sacked Australian vice-captain David Warner has revealed that South African wicket-keeper-batsman Quinton de Kock’s “out of line” remark against her was the reason behind the entire ball tampering incident.

Referring to the confrontation that took place between Warner and de Kock during the first Test match in Durban, Candice said, “I feel like it’s is all my fault and it’s killing me - it’s absolutely killing me.”

Candice held herself responsible for her husband’s role in the ball-tampering scandal, which was seemingly provoked by the brawl with de Kock.

Earlier in March, Warner and de Kock indulged in a brawl during the first Test after the latter made a distasteful comment about Candice.

The brawl was very intense and current Australian skipper Tim Paine and Usman Khawaja had to held Warner back.
