Rahul Dravid advises young players to be original; cautions them not to imitate Virat Kohli's aggression

Rahul Dravid's on field technical perfection and disciplined behaviour earned him the title of, "The Wall" of Indian cricket, said that what works for Indian skipper Virat Kohli may not work for young aspiring cricketers.

On Sunday Rahul was addrressing a gathering at the Bengalore Literature Festival (BLF) and was in conversation with senior journalists Rajdeep Sardesai and Prem Panicker on Rajdeep's book titled, 'Indian Democracy XI' which is based on 11 legendary cricketers.

Speaking further on the occasion, the former Indian skipper said that it makes him cringe to read Virat's statements before every series and that on field aggressive stance have very little to do with winning matches.

As a word of caution to the young aspiring cricketers, Dravid said that what works for Virat may not work for them and that they should refrain from imitating him blindly.

Dravid expressed his dissapointment over the manner in which former Indian coach Anil Kumble was asked to leave and expressed his concern that as the coach for the Under-19 team, he may also meet the same fate.
