Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has turned 43 with a life nothing less than an inspiration for many. We all know how he has struggled and pushed himself hard to be crowned with a title – “God Of Cricket”. But, here is the occasion when we must focus on how he is making his life larger post retirement.
It was his dream to lift World Cup for India, and in 2011, the moment came when whole Indian team lifted this little champion with the prestigious World Cup. The moment is one of the greatest moment in Indian cricket history. Everyone took a sigh of relief like the way not just Sachin’s but their dream came true.
After being a great sportsman, he finally decided to vacate his place from Team India. On 16 November 2013, he announced his retirement from all formats of the game. But, he never really announced his separation from the cricket.
Sachin Tendulkar is not just a man but an icon with several records tagged to him. Soon after playing his last match against West Indies, the Centre announced his name for India’s most prestigious Bharat Ratna Award.
He has always been a busy man, the same continued after he retired from the game. Apart from being a member in Rajya Sabha, the master blaster has been seen actively participating in various activities for the nation. Few days post retirement, he attended the 82nd Air Force Day function at Air Force Station Hindon with his wife Anjali. He was the first sportsperson and the first person without an aviation background to be awarded the honorary rank of group captain by the Indian Air Force. He also launched his autobiography, Playing it my way; the same has been made in visual form and will soon be released in theatres. Teaser for the same is out and getting much appreciation from his fans and celebrities. Cricket is in his blood and this is why he is the master. In Indian Premier League, he started as a player and managed to win trophies too. But, post retirement everyone thought this is the end. But somethings are destined to be that way and same happened here; he continued his cricket connection as the mentor of the team. He is still as enthusiastic as he was during his playing days. On 5th July 2014, a match between MCC and ROW took place at Lord's on the eve of Merylebourne Cricket Club's 200th birthday. Sachin Tendulkar was leading MCC side that eventually emerged victorious. Not just cricket, he was also spotted launching brand new BMW 7 series during the Auto Expo. Sachin is also a family man and many of his outings can be seen on social networking sites. He is the one of the greatest persons on earth but comes with an attitude that connects him to every Indian. The nation smiles when he is happy and on the special occasion, News Nation wishes him loads of happiness and joy.
