The West Indies opening pair of Shai Hope and John Campbell scripted a world record with their brilliant and breathtaking 365-run opening stand against Ireland at the Clontarf Cricket Club Ground in Dublin on Sunday. Surpassing the Pakistani pair ofFakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq, the Windies batter created a new opening-wicket record in ODI cricket during the first match of the tri-series that also includes Bangladesh. It was also the first time in ODI format of the game that both openers have reached 150-mark in the partnership.Â
