Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper, Gautam Gambhir is not only known for his cricketing skills but also for his love and affection towards the country. He has always raised his voice, time and again, whenever any incident of attack on Indian security forces comes into limelight.
Now, Gambhir has announced that he will donate all his prize money whatever he receives during the Indian Premier League 2017 to the kin of martyrs who lost their lives in the Sukma attack. 25 CRPF jawans were martyred in the recent Sukma attack by Maoists.

"Whatever I have earned till now (in the IPL) and whatever awards I will win, all the money will go to the victims of the CRPF jawans who got martyred in Sukma," Gambhir said.
Earlier, Gambhir had also said that his foundation will take care of the education of these martyrs’ children. "The Gautam Gambhir Foundation will take care of the entire education expenses of the children of these martyrs. My team has already started work on this and I shall soon share the progress we have made," he said.

The left handed batsman had also criticised the video in which a security personnel was manhandled by a youth near a polling booth in Srinagar. The patriotic Gambhir couldn’t control his anger and blasted on Twitter saying for every slap on Indian army's jawan, lives of at least 100 jihadi must be taken.
One can say Gautam Gambhir is not just an extraordinary cricketer but he is also an emotional Indian citizen who takes a stand for his country without any fear.
