Cricket is a game of uncertainties. But a South African batsman took it to another level by scoring 490 runs in a one-day match on Saturday.
Shane Dadswell, who was celebrating his 20th birthday, managed to achieve this feat in mere 151 balls.
The youngster hit 57 sixes and 27 fours in a match between his club NWU Pukke and Potch Dorp 1st.
Dadswell was supported by Ruan Haasbroek, who scored 104 runs in 54 balls.
NWU Pukke managed to put 677 runs for 3 wickets on the board. In reply, Potch Dorp 1st posted 290/9 in 50 overs.
The South African batsman didn’t stop there as he also picked 3 wickets for just 37 runs.
