Sussex's fast bowler Matthew Hobden dies at 22

The cricket world was shocked and saddened after the sudden death of a 22-year old Sussex bowler Matthew Hobden. The county said in a Sussex said in a statement: "Sussex Cricket is deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Matthew Hobden.

The 22-year old was a very exciting bowler and had a big future in England. He made his first-class debut in 2014 for Sussex and represented the county in all formats.  

The county offer their deepest condolences to Matthew's family and friends.

The 22-year old claimed 48 first-class wickets at an average of 39.35. He had been named in the fast-bowling group for the Potential England Performance Programme late last year.

Hobben was expecting an England call in near future.  Still no details regarding the reasons behind his death have been released yet.

Many players in the English county and international cricketers like Eoin Morgan, Scott Styris and Matt Prior paid their tribute to the cricketer.
