T20 Blind World Cup: India to take on Pakistan in group match

India will take on Pakistan in a group match in T-20 World Cup for Blind in New Delhi. Earlier defending champions India kicked off their T20 cricket World Cup for the blind on a winning note as they crushed Bangladesh by 129 runs in the opening match at IIT Ground.

Pakistan has already won two consecutive matches and lead the table with six points. In other matches, Australia will take on South Africa, England will face New Zealand, Bangladesh will take on Nepal while Sri Lanka will play against West Indies.

A seventeen member squad led by Ajay Kumar Reddy is representing India in the mega-event. For the first time, the World Cup matches are taking place in multiple cities across India. Ten teams, including hosts India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Australia and England, will fight it out for the title.

The final is slated for February 12. The matches will be played in twelve venues, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore and Bhubaneswar.
