India captain Virat Kohli’s wish to Mahendra Singh Dhoni on his birthday was the most retweeted Tweet this year in India, the micro-blogging platform said on Tuesday. The heartfelt Tweet by Kohli on Mahi’s birthday with a picture of the duo together made for an epic moment for Indian cricket fans and was re-tweeted over 45,000 times and received 4.12 lakh likes.
On the occasion of Dhoni’s 38th birthday, Kohli took to Twitter to share a heart-warming message for the former Indian captain.
“Happy birthday mahi bhai @msdhoni. Very few people understand the meaning of trust and respect and I'm glad to have had the friendship I have with you for so many years. You've been a big brother to all of us and as I said before, you will always be my captain,” Kohli had tweeted.

The strong bonding between Dhoni and Kohli, despite reports suggested that there were difference of opinions between the two, is nothing new for their fans.
