The cash-rich Indian Premier League witnessed uncapped player hitting jackpots even some top players went unsold. The teams spend wisely and went for the performers rather than superstars. Players like Martin Guptill, Hashim Amla, Hashim Amla and many were unable to attract any buyers but Indian rookies like Pawan Negi, Murugan Ashwin, Deepak Hooda and many more got plenty.

Pawan Negi, one of the uncapped players in the Indian team, included for upcoming Asia cup and World T20, became hot property overnight and got mammoth Rs 8.5 crore. Earlier, the left handed all-rounder played for Chennai and this year he will don Daredevils jersey. He has sealed a spot in his IPL team but difficult for him to play for his country.

Let’s see some uncapped players who have drawn millions during the auction:

 Murugan Ashwin

He plays for the same state, Tamil Nadu but he is not R Ashwin. The spinner has just played three First-class matches and was in news for his accuracy. The 25-year-old was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants for Rs 4.5 crore.

 Deepak Hooda

 The former Rajasthan player was performing big in the domestic circuit for a couple of season, but this he has hit the bulls’ eye. He was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for RS 4.2 crores.

 Karun Nair

The former Royals batsman, Karun Nair found enough takers during the auction. The 24-year-old batsman was bought for Rs 4 crores by Delhi Daredevils.

 Krunal Pandya

 The Baroda all-rounder and elder brother of Hardik Pandya was one of the best in the Twenty20 domestic circuit.  He will play along with his bother for Mumbai, who got him for Rs 2 crores.

 Rishabh Pant

 The under 19 Indian wicket keeper from Uttarakhand has performed well  in the ongoing World cup. He helped India to beat Namibia with quick fire century in the quarters. He was bought by Delhi for 1.9 cr.
