The clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium witnessed a heated argument between young SRH fast bowler Siddharth Kaul and KKR's hard-hitting batsman Robin Uthappa. The incident happened in the third over of KKR's innings when Uthappa nudged Kaul's shoulder after hitting a boundary of his over.
He also appeared to give some verbal volleys to the bowler and it resulted in Yuvraj Singh's intervention on behalf of Kaul.Yuvraj and umpire S Ravi however handled the situation with ease and the matter seemed resolved.
Later on as play was halted due to rain, Yuvraj put his arm around Uthappa's shoulder and talked to him. Uthappa, who has played with Yuvraj for India, was receptive and acknowledged his senior's words.Uthappa played a brisk knock of 28-ball 53 before he was dismissed by Mohammed Siraj in the 13th over.
Sunrisers Hyderabad scored their highest IPL total - 210 for 3, courtesy captain David Warner's heroics, a 59-ball 126 and then defended the massive total to secure a 48-run victory.
