Continuing his fabulous form in the ongoing India-England Test series, Indian Test captain Virat Kohli has scored another double century, courtesy to which he has become the first Indian Test captain to score three double centuries.

This series has a massive number cracker with a number of record being broken by Virat Kohli himself. He also became the first Indian batsman to score three double centuries in a year. Earlier he has scored a double century against New Zealand and West Indies. 

Virat Kohli went past MS Dhoni's record (224) against Australia, the highest runs scored in an innings by an Indian captain.

Kohli scored his career best score of 235 while JayantYadav was unbeaten on 92, having stitched a record eighthwicket double century partnership.

The duo of Virat Kohli also broke the eighth-wicket record partnership between India and England of 168 runs by Ray Illingworth and Peter Taylor which they scored in 1971 in Manchester.
