The Indian squad for the upcoming three-match Twenty20 series against Bangladesh has been declared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) starting from November 3. Indian skipper Virat Kohli is rested for the series while Shivam Dube and Sanju Samson made it into the squad.
VIrat Kohli-led Team India have created history in the Ranchi Test by winning the final match by an innings and 202 runs to inflict a 3-0 whitewash on South Africa. This was the first time India had inflicted a 3-0 whitewash of South Africa and this was the first time since 1935 that the Proteas had suffered back-to-back innings defeats in a three-Test series.
Meanwhile, the Indian squad for the upcoming T20I series includes Rohit Sharma(C), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant (WK), Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rahul Chahar, Deepak Chahar, Khaleel Ahmed, Shivam Dube and Shardul Thakur.
However, the squad for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh includes Virat Kohli (C), Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Hanuma Vihari, Saha (WK), R Jadeja, R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant.
