Indian skipper Virat Kohli retained his numero uno spot in the latest ICC Test batsmen rankings released on Monday. New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson secured the second spot with 913 points and Cheteshwar Pujara is at the third position with 881 points.
In the list of bowlers, Australian pacer Pat Cummins leads the charts with 878 points while English bowler James Anderson managed to secure the second spot with 868 points and Anderson will have to wait for few more time to fill this 16 points gap at least as he has been ruled out of the four-day Test against Ireland.
In the list of ICC Test bowlers, Ravichandra Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are the only Indian cricketers in the list of top 10 bowlers for Tests with 10th and 6th spot.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Co is also leading the ICC Test team rankings followed by New Zealand at second, South Africa in the third, England in the fourth and Australia at fifth spot.
And, in the list of all-rounders, West Indies skipper Jason Holder is at number one position followed by Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh) and Ravindra Jadeja (India) at second and third spot.
Currently, Virat Kohli-led Team India is all feared up for the West Indian tour where they are scheduled to play 3 T20Is, 3ODIs and 2 Test matches.
