PNB ropes in Virat Kohli as brand ambassador, a look into his other endorsments

State-owned Punjab National Bankhas roped in Indian test skipper Virat Kohli as brand ambassador to improve its image which has taken a hit due to rising bad loans.

On the occasion Kohli said PNB is 'Mera Apna Bank' as hehas been an account holder of the bank since the age of 16years.

PNB is seen as a complete universal bank. ViratKohli, an energetic young sportsman having mass appeal to theyouth of our country has been chosen as brand ambassador whocomes with qualities like determination, focus and for whomwinning is a habit,” the bank said in a statement.

Total earnings approximate of Virat are 7.1 million dollars. The star batsman cricket pay is around $3.1 million dollars and earnings from Endorsements are 4 million dollars.

He is brand ambassador for Cinthol, reebok, Godrej, Nestle, Nike, PepsiCo and Toyota. 

In the Year 2013, Virat possessed 13 brand endorsements. In 2014 he two deals with Adidas and MRF sky-rocketed Kohli’s earnings through endorsement.

Kohli signed a significant deal of 5 crore rupees for a duration of eighteen months with car giant Audi, which entered his name into the 100-cr deal club.
