[SCORECARD: INDIA vs WEST INDIES]
India's glimmer of hope came in the ninth over of the morning. Ishant Sharma had Darren Bravo miscuing a pull, and Ravindra Jadeja took a comfortable catch at fine-leg. Replays on Ishant's foot-landing, however, indicated that he had slightly overstepped. After multiple replays, the third umpire deemed them inconclusive to call it a no ball and Bravo had to depart.
Virat Kohli turned to the spinners soon after, and R Ashwin took next to no time to make an impact. He had Kraigg Brathwaite smartly caught down the leg-side by Wriddhiman Saha. Marlon Samuels and Jermaine Blackwood took a cautious route to overcome Jadeja and Ashwin.
