Welcome to News Nation live coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2018. Colombia face Senegal at the Cosmos Arena, Samara in a tight-affair to secure qualification to the last 16.
Everything is still up for grabs in Group H of the FIFA World Cup 2018 with the two knockout-stage places yet to be decided and three teams in contention. With that in mind, Colombia and Senegal are set for a tightly-contested battle at the Cosmos Arena in Samara to determine which side will make the last 16.
Senegal have four points after two matches, and only need a draw to secure a spot in the next round after defeating Poland (2-1) and drawing with Japan (2-2) in their prior matches.Colombia’s case is a bit more complicated.
After losing to Japan (2-1) and winning against Poland (3-0), Los Cafeteros need to win at all costs to make it to the next round. They can still qualify with a draw, but they would need winless Poland to beat Japan.
