Portuguese star striker Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to bid adieu to his current club Real Madrid, according to reports appearing in leading newspapers of Portugal.

A Portuguese daily had filed a report this morning claiming that the Real Madrid striker is angry over the treatment rendered to him by Spanish tax authorities and has expressed his wish to leave the country. Spanish prosecutors have accused the Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo of defrauding the authorities of 14.7 million euros in tax, an accusation Ronaldo is contesting. Ronaldo denied the accusation and has made the "irreversible" decision to leave the club, and has informed his teammates of his intentions.
