East Bengal defeats defending champions Bengaluru FC 2-1 to clinch mouthwatering I-League clash

Traditional Indian soccer giants East Bengal defeated defending champions Bengaluru FC in titanic I League clash.

East Bengal won the game courtesy strikes from Ivan Bukenya and Robin Singh. FC Bengaluru took the early lead with a sensational goal from the prolific striker C.K Vineeth. However, East Bengal leveled the tie with a brilliant equalizer from Ugandan defender Ivan Bukenya in the 28th minute.

Robin Singh then scored the winner in the 79th minute to seal the match for East Bengal.
