Football world has been left shell-shocked by the news of the emergency operation and serious illness of Sir Alex Ferguson. The former United boss is a indestructible personality in the footballing world and a legend of the game.
The 76-year-old had an emergency surgery for a brain haemorrhage on Saturday and it was just a week earlier that he was on the pitch at Old Trafford, all happy and laughing while making a presentation to Arsene Wenger.
