Hans Moulder leads Chennaiyin FC to their first victory in ISL-3

Chennaiyin FC won their 1^st game of this Hero ISL season after drubbing FC Goa with a 2-0 scoreline. Mehrajuddin Wadoo and Hans Mulder were the goal scorers for the victorious side.

The goals were scored in the 15^th and 26^th minute as Marco Materazzi’s side now has four points from three games while last year’s finalists FC Goa now has suffered three defeats in a row.

The win took Chennaiyin to 5^th position in the eight-team table while Goa are languishing at the bottom of the heap.

FC Goa were completely outclassed by a team that seemed to be out to prove their manager wrong.

The second half was all about a determined Chennaiyin defence not only fending off Goa attacks, but also becoming the originators for counter attacks.

The Hero of the Match award was awarded to Chennaiyin FC’s Hans Mulder.
