The sixth season of Indian Super League (ISL) to commence from October 20, 2019. The two-time finalists Kerala Blasters to host two-time champions ATK at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.
Defending champions Bengaluru FC to kick off their tournament against Northeast United FC which will be a replay of last season’s semi-final.
The league matches to continue for five months and will conclude on February 23 with Delhi Dynamos facing Kerala Blasters. It will be followed by semi-finals and finals but their dates are yet to be revealed.
The season to feature regular football until 10 November (Bengaluru FC vs Chennaiyin FC) when there is a break for international football. At this juncture, India to play Afghanistan (14 November) and Oman (19 November) in away games as part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
The season games to again resume on November 23 with Bengaluru FC facing Kerala Blasters at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
