A video of a little fan of Lionel Messi, who made a Barcelona t-shirt from a plastic bag, went viral last week. The video was shared thousands of times that it also came across the football star Messi himself.
And guess what! Messi, so moved by the love of his young fan, has decided to meet him. The kiddo has been identified as Murtaza Ahmadi, aged five, from Afghanistan – and now Messi is planning to fly out to meet him.
As per a report, Murtaza’s Cousin Azim Ahmadi has been posting more pictures of his nephew online and has been contacted by Messi’s agent to set up a meeting.
The Iraqi Football Association has also intervened in the matter and they providing help to set up the meeting.
Messi will also gift him a real T-shirt as Murtaza could not afford to buy a replica of his Argentina shirt, the reason he made this version from an old carrier bag.
