Remo Freuler's genius helped Atalanta hold Serie A leader Juventus to a 2-2 draw in a dramatic encounter on Friday. The draw is like a bump in the road for Massimiliano Alegri's team, who have also reached the semi-finals of the Champions league and were aspiring to secure their sixth straight Scudetto with a victory on Friday.
“We just needed to stay with the game but we lost our shape, it happened in the first half but once we came back we should have closed the match. Usually we don’t concede like that,†Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri said.
Juventus didn't have the best of starts and both the teams held equal advantage in the first half. Dani Alves' header appeared to have provided Massimiliano Allegri's men a hard-fought three points at Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, as Juventus fought back from a 1-0 half-time deficit.
Later on Remo Freuler capitalised on a rare error from the highly experienced Gianlugi Buffon to salvage a hard fought 2-2 draw. The match was historic for Giorgio Chiellini who played his 300th Serie A game for Juventus.

Atalanta showed tremendous agility and their goalkeeper Etrit Berisha was on top form as he pulled off a string of excellent saves to deny Gonzalo Higuain and Sami Khedira goals.
The team has remained unbeaten at home since December 2016 and once again showed its prowess in familiar territory.
